Hanoi clubs are often compared to Ho Chi Minh City, but honestly, the vibe is quite different. While they share the same table reservation & bottle service-focused structure, Hanoi stands out with its heavy, distinctively characteristic spaces—like the 1900 Club renovated from an old theater, the factory-like Hero Club, or the underground bunker feel of Klub One.
The music ranges evenly across EDM, House, Hip-hop, and Vinahouse, and the scale spectrum is quite broad—from small underground spots in the Old Quarter to mega clubs accommodating over 1,000 people. Since venues are clustered by area, it's much more efficient to plan your route around Yen Phu Street (APLUS, Hero), the Old Quarter (O2 Space, The Bunker, 1900 Club), Hai Ba Trung (Klub One), and Hoan Kiem (NOXX CITI, Binh Minh Jazz).
It is divided into the large club zone of Yen Phu Street (Ba Dinh) and the small underground clubs of the Old Quarter (Hoan Kiem). The Old Quarter has a high proportion of foreigners, while the Yen Phu/Hai Ba Trung areas are dense with large local clubs.
